Between 2009 and 2011 RPCC was taken on to assist with this newly opened hotel / restaurant and bar. It had been subject to a stunning £2.5m makeover and after the initial opening which was a huge success some small cracks started to appear, which sometimes can happen after the initial euphoria of launching a new site.
The owners were looking for some assistance to put these right and ensure the margins of their business and return of investment were on track. RPCC was taken on with the remit to recruit some key staff members, increase the service standards of the bar and restaurant, introduce new menus which could be delivered to a larger amount of covers consistently and assist with staff training and development whilst hitting the food and beverage margins.
The Oddfellows team were very positive and welcoming to these changes and within a short period of time the covers and customer satisfaction had increased, which quickly filtered through to the P&L’s bottom line.
